Beat The Wheel Passes
STOCKHOLM
Hanover Shoe Farms has announced that World Champion trotting mare Beat The Wheel passed away at the farm on Monday, December 5. The cause of death was kidney failure, which led to a breakdown of her vital organs.

Beat The Wheel was a multiple stakes winner at ages two and three. However, it was at four where she really shone. She became the worlds fastest trotter ever, taking a record of 1:51.4 in defeating Pine Chip among others. She was a multiple Free For All and fast class winner often defeating male opponents including S Js Photo.

She was equally proficient as a broodmare producing the well-known stakes winners Beatgoeson Hanover ($597,615 at two and three), Dexter Cup winner Beissinger Hanover 3,1.56.1, 1.55.4h ($291,623) and Berndt Hanover 2,1.57.4 ($264,025 at two and three). Her daughter Lady Luck Hanover is the dam of the multiple stakes winner Luckycharm Hanover ($388,146 at two and three).

She was laid to rest at the Hanover She Farms cemetery next to the great filly and World Champion-producing broodmare Cathedra.
