Brandnewgirlfriend and regular driver Boone Mattison two-moved to the lead in the second non-wagering event. The pair were out in 1:02, then home in :58.2 to complete the handiest of victories in 2:00.2. Naughty Nana chased from the pocket and wound up second, while Serene Yankee was third.
The daughter of Conway Hall, who is owned by trainer Paul Kelley, Jim Winske, Stephen Michaels and East Pond Stable, was unraced at two. She's now nine-for-10 this season with earnings in excess of $132,000.
"You really don't have to ask her for a
lot during the mile," Mattison said. "She
can leave much faster at most tracks, but
here, you always have to make sure to get
around the first turn. The way she's come
around has been the best thing about her.
She's learned what she's supposed to do.
It's probably a good thing she didn't race
last season. That way, we didn't stake her a
lot and we could just get her ready to race
in New York. She can make enough money."

The night's fastest NYSS effort was
									turned in by
Michelles Way in 1:58.4. Brent Holland
and the Conway Hall lass, who is trained by
Ken Rucker, drew away to win the $42,160
non-betting affair by three lengths over J
Yo. On With The Show grabbed the show dough.

With five wins in nine starts this
season, Michelles Way is closing in on six
figures this season for owner Marcos
									Ameralis of Bergenfield, NJ..

The remaining $43,160 NYSS divisions went
									to
									Winbak Roberta (2:00.3),
									Allie Jae (1:59.4) and
									Porque (2:01).
